Stickboy War is a side-on strategy game in which you build and command an army of stick warriors against the Imperial Berserkers. Every battle plays out along a single horizontal battlefield with your camp at one end and an enemy gate at the other, and winning means pushing your forces far enough forward to bring that gate down. Gold is the constraint that shapes everything else. Miners generate your income, and every soldier you field costs money you could have spent expanding that economy instead. Hire too many fighters early and you stall out with nothing left to reinforce with; invest too heavily in mining and the enemy arrives at your camp before your army properly exists. Judging which of those two mistakes you are drifting toward is the real skill here. The unit types work as a kind of rock-paper-scissors. Shielders soak up damage at the front, archers deal damage from safely behind them, and explosive units break apart formations that a conventional push cannot shift. Sending the right mix matters considerably more than sending the largest number, and each campaign level introduces something new to account for. Upgrades carry progress forward between levels, unlocking stronger versions of each warrior along with new abilities, while reward chests top up the gold you earn in battle. Across the ten-plus campaign levels the enemy composition shifts enough that one reliable strategy will not see you through all of them.
