As a stickman commander, you face incoming enemy formations where enemy composition and positioning determine the most effective elimination order. The key tactical insight the game teaches early: destroying an enemy infantry's shield transforms them from a defended obstacle into an aggressive charger who rushes your position immediately. Managing when you trigger that shield-break versus leaving the infantry shielded while targeting higher-priority threats on elevated platforms is the core decision tree of each level. Spearmen on elevated platforms represent the priority targets in most engagements. Their elevated position allows them to attack over other units, meaning neutralizing them before they can throw creates a significantly safer ground engagement against the now-shield-broken infantry below.
